Almazaras de la Subbética BIO, formerly Almaoliva BIO, is an organic extra virgin olive oil, ideal for those who value environmental respect without compromising on flavor. It is a blend of Picudo, Picual, and Hojiblanca, with a sensory profile that combines green and ripe notes. On the palate, it offers a sweet touch at the beginning, followed by green almond, bitterness, and spiciness of medium-high intensity. Its balance and harmony make it a perfect AOVE for raw consumption in salads, meats, blue fish, and gourmet toasts.

Process and Storage Details

Production Process: Reception of the olives, cleaning, washing, and weighing, followed by crushing within 24 hours of harvest. The paste is then mixed and the olive juice is separated in two phases from the other components. Finally, the resulting extra virgin olive oil is filtered and stored in inertized tanks for later bottling, distribution, and sale.

Storage and Preservation: Store protected from light, in a cool and dry environment.

Best Before: 18 months from the bottling date (see label).

  • Technical and sanitary regulations for vegetable oils R.D. 308/83.

Olfactory Phase

Medium/high fruitiness, presenting green and ripe notes. This leads to a perfect harmony of all nuances.

Gustatory Phase

With a sweet touch at the beginning, green almonds, and a wonderful hint of bitterness and spiciness of medium-high intensity.
