The year that has just ended has set the bar very high for Spanish EVOO in general, <\/span> and for EVOO from C\u00f3rdoba in particular. <\/span>Almazaras de la Subb\u00e9tica <\/span><\/a>has taken part in 25 <\/span> competitions and we have achieved 117 awards worldwide!<\/span><\/p>\n

According to <\/span>EVOO World Ranking<\/a>, <\/span>one of our most iconic oils, <\/span>Rinc\u00f3n de la Subb\u00e9tica<\/b><\/a>, <\/b>tops the 2025 EVOO of the Year ranking as the Best EVOO in the World.<\/span> But did you know that this is the ninth consecutive year in which, thanks to several of our <\/span> oils, we have achieved this highly coveted first place?<\/span><\/p>\n

Second place goes to the Priego-based <\/span>Knolive Epicure. <\/b>Meanwhile, third and <\/span> fourth place are held by the Seville-based <\/span>Goya \u00danico Premium and Goya Organics <\/b> <\/b>Premium.<\/b> <\/b><\/p>\n

The good news continued for the great Almazaras de la Subb\u00e9tica family with <\/span> the success of <\/span>Almaoliva Bio, Almaoliva Arbequino <\/b>and <\/span>Parqueoliva Serie Oro<\/b><\/a>, ranking fifth,<\/span> sixth and seventh respectively, followed by the Greek Terra de Creta Gran<\/span> Cru.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Manchegan <\/span>Palacio de los Olivos Picual <\/b>can boast ninth place. And it is the <\/span> Portuguese <\/span>Gallo Bio <\/b>that closes the <\/span>Top Ten <\/span><\/i>of 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

The EVOO Bible<\/b> <\/b>\"Best<\/h3>\n

Another key reference for EVOO experts and lovers of liquid gold is the <\/span>Evooleum <\/span> Guide<\/span><\/a>, which features the 100 Best EVOOs in the World, selected in the competition of the same name. Evooleum is the international contest that \u201cannually selects the 100 best EVOOs in the world. It is a unique competition and the most rigorous in terms of quality and promotion of olive juice,\u201d according to the organization. In fact, \u201cthe most exclusive and prestigious group of expert tasters worldwide is responsible for evaluating the organoleptic quality of the samples presented, from which each season emerges the exclusive TOP 100 of the best extra virgin olive oils in the world, as well as the best in their different categories, varieties, and countries.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Reaching the very top of the podium in the latest edition is the Italian EVOO <\/span>Monini Monocultivar Coratina. <\/b><\/p>\n

Second place goes to South Africa\u2019s <\/span>De Rustica Estate Collection Coratina; <\/b>ahead of <\/span>Valdenvero Hojiblanco, from Ciudad Real. <\/b><\/p>\n

The next two positions go to Italian oils. From Bari comes <\/span>Gran Pregio Bio Coratina <\/b>and, from the Lazio region, shining in its own right, <\/span>Quattrociocchi Olivastro. <\/b><\/p>\n

The Italian <\/span>Di Molfetta Frantoiani <\/b>(7th) has also been recognized, followed closely by the Ja\u00e9n-based <\/span>Se\u00f1or\u00edo de Camarasa <\/b>(8th). <\/span><\/p>\n

C\u00f3rdoba was represented by <\/span>Knolive Epicure <\/b>(6th), from Priego de C\u00f3rdoba, and by two of our jewels, <\/span>Parqueoliva Serie Oro <\/b>(9th) and <\/span>Rinc\u00f3n de la Subb\u00e9tica <\/b>(10th). The former is a perfectly balanced blend of Picuda and Hojiblanca. It is perfect for raw use on toast, bread with olive oil, salads, carpaccios, pasta, meats, oily fish, and gourmet dishes. <\/span><\/p>\n

Rinc\u00f3n de la Subb\u00e9tica, meanwhile, is a monovarietal Hojiblanca EVOO and can boast being the most awarded organic olive oil in the world. The best way to pair it? It is ideal for toast, gourmet dishes, mixed salads, tomato salads, as well as meats or oily fish. <\/span><\/p>\n
